The Advocates Scholarship is open to current or prospective college students. Applicants may major in any area.
Scholarships are offered twice a year, with deadlines in May and December. All applicants must be enrolled in an accredited institution located within the United States.
To apply, candidates must write a 300-500 word essay on the following topic:
What are some of the daily problems we face on the roads? What laws could be changed to accomplish that goal? How can you contribute to improving road safety? Topics may change from year to year.
Essays will be judged on content and how well the essay follows essay and paragraph format, including an introduction with a thesis statement, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
The Advocates is an injury law firm located in Seattle, Washington. The purpose of the scholarship is to help alleviate the financial strain relating to the costs of attending college.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MAY of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000.
